This Privacy Policy applies to the Roadway Defense website, online forms, membership and service inquiries, ticket intake, attorney-network applications, and related email, phone, and SMS communications. It does not govern an independent attorney, law firm, payment provider, or other third party that maintains its own privacy policy.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Identity and contact information: name, email address, mobile or other phone number, mailing address, state, and jurisdiction.
• CDL and service-request information: ticket or inspection details, dates, deadlines, license-related concerns, uploaded documents, and information you include in a message.
• Membership and account information: selected plan, enrollment status, service history, preferences, and communications about your account.
• Attorney-application information: firm, bar number, licensed jurisdictions, experience, service areas, and application details.
• Communications and consent records: emails, calls, form submissions, SMS opt-in or opt-out status, the date and time of consent, and related support requests.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device data, requested pages, timestamps, referral information, and security or diagnostic logs.

Please do not submit information that is not reasonably needed for your request.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

• respond to inquiries and review ticket, inspection, license, membership, or network-application requests;
• provide requested services, coordinate next steps, schedule communications, and send account or service updates;
• maintain consent, preference, and communication records;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services;

4. Mobile information and SMS consent

SMS consent is optional. Website SMS opt-in checkboxes are unchecked by default, and you may submit a form without opting in to SMS. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:

• Service providers: hosting, email, communications, security, document-processing, analytics, customer-support, and similar vendors working on our behalf.
• Professional-service participants: attorneys, law firms, or other professionals when necessary to respond to a request, subject to eligibility, intake, and applicable agreements.
• Legal and safety recipients: courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, and safety.

The SMS privacy commitment in Section 4 applies regardless of the general sharing categories above.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

• SMS: reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply START to opt back in after an opt-out. Reply HELP for support.
• Email: use any unsubscribe instruction in an optional marketing email or contact us directly.
• Access or correction: contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion, subject to identity verification and applicable law.
• Browser controls: adjust browser settings to limit cookies or similar technologies, understanding that some website features may be affected.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults and commercial-driving professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and address it.
